Dr. Binita Prajapati is a board-certified, family medicine physician with over 20 years of experience in primary care. Prior to joining R-Health by Everside, Dr. Prajapati was Medical Director at Valley Medical Group, and previously a family physician with the Englewood group of Wasserman, Reiner, and Gillon. She believes that a strong physician-patient relationship is the key to constructive and beneficial treatment.

I take a holistic approach, creating an individualized plan of care that focuses on emotional and physical well-being. In achieving these goals, I partner with my patients, incorporating their ideas, perspectives, and concerns, all in conjunction with my medical expertise, to help them achieve their optimal health. I pride myself on taking into account the uneasiness and anxiety that medical issues can evoke and extend myself to my patients in all circumstances.

I love spending time at home with my husband and grown children, especially in preparing and sharing a good meal or just spending time together. I greatly enjoy travel; each of the communities and cultures I’ve encountered has enriched and enlarged my life both as a person and as a physician. I like to read both good novels and the latest medical journals because I want to keep gaining new insights.

INTERESTING FACT

Although I was only two years old when I emigrated from India to the United States, I have grown up as the beneficiary of two separate cultures. My background has given me a deep appreciation of the vibrancy and vitality afforded by a global perspective.
